What problem does your solution solve?
If an average person wants to sell something, like tickets or a used laptop, for example, he usually goes on Craigslist, navigates the clutter of boring HTML hyperlinks and posts his listing after spending an hour learning the proper way to make a listing. On Cantuga, however, the interface is crisp and simple, so it's not only easy to make listings but rewarding as well. Users no longer have to deal with the clutter and difficulty of Craigslist and other classified ad sites, because Cantuga is so much cleaner and effective. Users can post listings in specialized categories, and if there isn't one for him, then he can make his own. Cantuga is a much more effective platform than most of the other classified ad websites out there.
What’s the market potential for your solution?
The market potential is huge, as just about anybody can make listings. These listings can be about anything as well, ranging from beauty products to real estates, so this market covers essentially everybody.
Who are your customers?
Cantuga connects to users directly.
How will you reach your customers?
We will rely on word-of-mouth the most, because if someone had a good experience, then they can tell that to friends and share their listing on social media, thus spreading Cantuga to a variety of new potential customers. We will also rely on Google searches and social media campaigns as well.
How will you make money?
Classified ads on our site can be promoted so they appear at the top of the news feed, similar to Facebook ads. There can also be other types of media content such as videos and photos on the home page.
What kind of partners will you need to make, support and distribute your solution?
At this point we don't really need any partnerships (yet).
What will your expenses include?
Advertising, advertising, and advertising. And occasionally on upgrading the severs if traffic becomes too much to handle.
Who is your competition and how do you differ?
There are many classified ad websites out there, the most notable being Craigslist. However, it is too boring and dull of a site. It feels like a classified ad section of a newspaper, and while this may be fine for some people, it generally does not appeal to the younger generations. Furthermore, it is also cluttered, hard to use, and risky, as many people have been scammed before. However, on Cantuga, users can leave reviews of people that they conducted business with. This will reduce scamming. Categories are not confined to a select list that was decided beforehand, but can be created by users themselves to accommodate growing markets and demands.
