What problem does your solution solve?
employment today requires signing up to each individual company choice of job hunting portal. most recruiting is done using a myers briggs test, which is a broken method of realizing one's potential.
while some folks don't understand how to upload documents, or navigate the site,
tech savvy people hate filling out hundreds of pointless questions, only to do this again for the next job.
Why should someone have to go to all these websites just to sign up for a job?
For what reason are we creating a digital format of paper resumes, when we could instead showcase a dynamic profile that SHOWS what we can do--as apposed to letting a robot determine what we cant?
and companies pay out of pocket to sort through the thousands of applications that are constantly flowing in .
Active employ will be cheaper to use, more efficient, easier to understand, have faster more quality listings, and have a live agent to respond to any issues.
and most importantly..
change how people get jobs.
What’s the market potential for your solution?
active employ's market potential is hard to predict because our target audience is everyone who may want employment.
starting out we will be targeting 2,046 the population of my hometown. Once the city has adjusted to using my employment engine a subsidiary will be started with the goal to
call; university and library's and businesses in the resulting areas, creating a ripple effect.
because each member is pressured to share in exchange for site currency there will be a spike in members, however I do not have the information on how to calculate the probability of shares.
However, I intend for this to become a wold-wide known product.
Who are your customers?
Active Employ has two sections of customers.
Job-seekers use site currency to apply to postings set by managers.
Managers pay per posting of a job listing, and using site currency to hire/contact a job-seeker.
How will you reach your customers?
starting out I am in negations with library in my hometown who have computers used for employment., My goal is to have a desktop wallpaper announcing active employ, and a direct link to the site.
I am working to have one click signup implemented using Google and or Facebook.
when the current members run out of site currency they would be able to acquire more in exchange of sharing #activeemploy on any social media website.
this will create a sharing strategy, with each user offered the promt to share.
as capital is acquired, I intend on getting a billboard facing the streets of new york city & am open to other re-seller tactics.
How will you make money?
users of active employ have a in site currency called tokens which are traded for
posting a job (managers)
applying to a job (job-seekers)
users will pay or share to get more, with sharing at a capped rate.
each day a user will get one free Token or can pay to reload their bank.
managers may also be offered unlimited token free experience, for a higher pricing range.
What kind of partners will you need to make, support and distribute your solution?
active employ is almost ready to launch!
moderators to match job-seekers to managers
live support agents to handle any user questions
What will your expenses include?
we do not have many costs, Active employ is engineered to maximize profit.
our current costs are
SSL certificate to secure site.
as active employ grows $10 will be needed for the portal we use to manage tickets.
money for the people working sorting tickers
recurring $60 annual charge for in-site system
I intend on minimizing these in the future.
Who is your competition and how do you differ?
there are a few competing websites that help others gain employment, however they are all using the same broken software of requiring people to sign up for each individual listing,
upload a typed out resume and search it for text, then wait for a response.
I anticipate in the future they may try to change their design, however this doesn't worry me.
